Join us for our first BIANEO Remodelers Breakfast on Friday, May 15th, brought to you by Mentor Lumber—bringing together builders, remodelers, and industry professionals for a dynamic morning focused on both mastering building codes and strengthening leadership within your business. 

Featuring nationally recognized codes expert Ric Johnson alongside leadership presenters Pete McDowell and Peg Buehrle, this session will deliver practical insights you can take back to the jobsite and your team.

Ric Johnson of the National Association of Home Builders, a nationally recognized codes expert with decades of experience in construction, inspections, and code enforcement will share insights on interpreting the Residential Code of Ohio and help contractors better understand how the code applies to real-world renovation work. As a key resource through NAHB, he works directly with builders across the country on code compliance, interpretation, and education.

Pete McDowell and Peg Buehrle, will present Improving People and Business: The Levels of Leadership. Leadership is more than a title—it’s about influence, growth, and impact. In this session, participants will explore the five levels of leadership and learn practical strategies to build employee buy-in, grow as leaders, and develop others. Attendees will gain valuable insights on inspiring teams, strengthening culture, and driving lasting results.
